Ask Onsite360

This is where it clicks. Open a project and go to Ask Onsite360. Ask a question in plain English and get an answer drawn straight from your plans — with sources so you can verify it.

Try it on the sample

If you just signed up, your Sample Project already has an indexed plan set. Open its Ask Onsite360 and try:

  • “What are the kitchen dimensions?”
  • “How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there?”
  • “What insulation is specified for the exterior walls?”
  • “What size is the electrical service?”

How answers work

Onsite360 searches the indexed text of your plans, pulls the most relevant passages, and writes an answer grounded in them. Each answer shows the sheets it came from, so you're never trusting a black box.

Answers are only as good as what's indexed. If you ask before a plan finishes processing, you'll get a generic answer — wait for the plan status to read Ready, then ask again.

Tips for better answers

  • Ask about specific things — rooms, dimensions, materials, schedules.
  • If an answer seems off, open the cited sheet to confirm.
  • Upload more of the set (specs, details) for richer answers.

You're all set

That's the core loop: create a project → upload plans → ask. From here, explore decisions, nudges, change orders, and the rest of Onsite360 — or browse the Help center for feature-by-feature guides.
